Amalgam

Amalgam is an abstract two player board game that I have been working on since I was in highschool - often messing around with it and then abandoning it only to come back to it again years later. This is probably considered my biggest passion project, and is the only one I have consistently come back to over the many years.

The primary goal is to simply get people playing it. It’s a great feeling when you see other people playing and enjoying something you made. While I prefer playing board games in person, the easiest way to get the game shared and played is to get a digital version up and running - which is what I have been attempting to do for quite a few years now with no success (I’m a poor programmer). I have tried using free AI models a couple of times to try and get a playable demo up and running, and I have had limited success, but it always falls short as the code gets more complex and I can’t quite manage it. Honestly, I keep hoping a programmer will just gain interest in the game and help make the digital version possible…here’s to wishful thinking :)
