Projects
Below should be a growing list of my various projects: past and present. It will take time for me to get my projects transferred here from across various sources. It is not my top priority, but hopefully it will begin to flesh out eventually.
The “projects” listed may be legitimate projects that I have put a lot of time, effort, and planning into - while others may just be random other things that I wanted to have a more “permanent” place to live as opposed to a standard blog post.
As a general rule, my projects are usually in the creative commons/open source, with a leaning towards copyleft licenses. However, if you have any specific questions and want to get involved with something (and the project itself doesn’t have specific instructions on the matter), feel free to just shoot me an email at ahotcupoftea@disroot.org.
Spanish Vocabulary
Trying to finally buckle down and learn spanish: I try to commit to learning 5 new words each day (starting with verbs). Throughout the day I try to practice and repeat the words so that I can drill them into memory.
HSK Vocab Game
Initially this was just an app I was throwing together for myself to try and study Chinese Mandarin vocabulary, that wasn't quite as boring as standard flashcards - using JSON lists of the new HSK 3.0 word lists (bands 1-3)
Amalgam
A two player abstract strategy game. This is probably the project I am most passionate about, as I started it back in highschool, and I still keep coming back to it after all these years.
Reading List
A simple tracker for the books I am reading, have read, or plan to read. I am usually a sporadic reader though, so we will see how many books I actually get through.
